Why do we think we are good at what we do?
It's ok to say I am good at something so we believe that we should tell you what we think we are good at.
We are good at supporting people with Autism. We understand that everyone is different, likes different things, worries about different things. Its ok - we get you.
We are good at reducing behaviours that may challenge you or other people - we believe you are trying to tell us something so we work with you to help you find a way to say "I'm ok/I'm not ok" or "I want/I don't want". Trying to tell someone you are scared or anxious when you can't find the words is such a difficult thing to do. We are here to help you find those words or maybe another way to tell people.
We are good at always having something to do. We want to see your talent, help you to be the best you can be but also, we want you to try new things and challenge yourself. If you are no good at cooking, it doesn't matter, you might be brilliat at caring for the animals or making beautiful things from wood.
We are good at positive risk taking - this means we don't wrap you in cotton wool. You are an adult and you should be able to try new things. Our job is to help you be the safest you can be in trying new things.
We are good at making you laugh - we want every person to go home with a great memory of the day.
We are good at developing your confidence - we believe in you, we believe you can and we do our best to help you see that to.
