There are a lot more activities. I like all the staff. I get to interview other people. I've got more confidence in myself. I look forward to coming to the Barn. I also prefer outside activities. I like talking to people. I attend Briars Barn every day and I have the pleasure of coming here. After the weekend I look forward to coming to the Barn on a Monday morning.

Firstly I would say the Barn has changed my life, it has helped me build my confidence. I love working with all the staff and my fellow colleagues.

I am able to learn new skills and go out and about with my friends. I am proud of what I have achieved here so far. One of my proudest achievements is hosting and showing visitors round.

Since starting at the Barn I have started to try new things and now I do a lot more, such as I work in the office. I can go upstairs and be with my friends and now I don't feel any different to anyone else who comes here. All the staff are brilliant with me and I feel happy and safe when I come here. I use a wheelchair to get around and then I sit on a chair once I am at the place where I am working. I have done an animal course and an employment course and I enjoyed doing them. Sometimes I use a handling belt if I am doing something. My parents bring me in the mornings. All the staff are good with everyone.

I wanted to say a big thank you for inviting the team to look around Briars Barn. We were blown away by the positive work and atmosphere we experienced on our visit. We wanted to say thank you for your hospitatility when we brought our young adults to visit. The had a fantastic time exploring new experiences and meeting new people.

We are so pleased we found Briars Barn. The efforts that yourself and the staff have made in trying to understand and integrate Tom into the close knit community you have there have been greatly appreciated. We above all others know this is no easy task.

Our son Scott has been attending Briars Barn for several years since leaving college. Scott enjoys working in the Maintenance Team, learning new skills and is very proud of all his achievements. The service also provides structure and some routine to his very busy life. He enjoys socialising with his peers and feels like he has a purpose in life. The support we get from the Management and Staff is excellent and we feel that we are all one big happy family. Many thanks for all you do.

From day one, I was made to feel part of the team. Every staff colleague was friendly and helpful and were happy to answer any questions I had. I could instantly see that all colleagues were very happy to be at the Barn, they are so eager to get through the door in the morning. Briars Barn constantly strive to be the best there is. Everything is done properly, from the training new employees receive to the choices on offer to the colleagues. And one last thing, when I see one of the Managers unblocking the toilet or mopping up mess, I know that I am part of a really great team where nobody is any less important than anyone else.

Ben and I wish to thank all those concerned for a most enjoyable evening last night. Lots of thought, hard work and care was taken into the evening. Hope another evening can be arranged soon. (Bistro Evening)

We cannot speak highly enough of Briars Barn, and the place it has filled since Brad finished at school. We never thought we would find somewhere to replace school as Brad loved it so much and was so happy there but Briars Barn has ticked all the boxes. The staff are kind, caring and supportive and Brad has continued to thrive within this safe and happy environment.
